February 24th

I love Utah for so many reasons; however, one of reasons is now backfiring on me. I'm tired of the cold and the absence of snow. The snow has always made Winter worth it to me, but I guess we don't get snow anymore? Ellie has been attending daycare part-time for the last few weeks, I think it is a love/hate relationship. When Justin is getting her ready in the morning they talk about how she is going to play with the kids today, Ellie gets excited and runs to her car seat. When Justin drops her off, she of course is absolutely devastated. I'm just glad he drops her off and not me. Justin is enjoying the biking industry, I think he is completely overwhelmed with everything he needs to learn but he is smart- he will figure it out. Anything new with me...I am debating if I want to attempt school online again. I started my BA, majoring in Computer Information Systems Management with Colombia College. Two classes is considered full-time, the semesters are 8 weeks long. But they are online, so you basically have to self-teach yourself and go to your instructor if you have questions-they may or may not get back to you in a timely manner. Oh, I also chopped off my hair. Well actually my hairstylist of over a decade (Elise Balmer w/Stewer and Friends) did. I saw a pic of Gennifer Goodwin and instantly fell in love with her cut. She looks so sophsicated, funky, and fresh. I realize I am not a celebrity and may not be able to pull it off, so I figured if I hate it-it will grow out.
Ellie is wearing her fruit basket as a hat, she loves it

Quick update

Time Fly's when your having fun, where did January go? Just a quick update on what is happening with us. Justin and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary last month. We also received our new car that we had ordered in November, it's the first time either of us has owned a brand new car. It's is a 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport ;) Justin has been offered a new job opportunity with Bountiful Bike. Sales and building bike, it's a dream job for him. I'm still with the Guard, living the dream - I have no complaints. Ellie is a big 18 months old, and grumpy as ever. She has been trying to show her authority and defiance - it has been very interesting. She will also been starting daycare part-time in the next few weeks. I will be meeting with a potential caregiver tomorrow. I have interviewed her over the phone, tomorrow we will be going to her home to meet. Wish us luck! Now for some pics...

Pigtails which of course she immediately pulled out

Her new sweater that her Auntie gave her for Christmas

Fruit snacks have replaced the obsession of Baby Mum Mum's

I know it's a little blurry, but she wouldn't hold still. My little Pebbles before we went swimming ;)
